Siikkim most popularly known as The Land in the Shadows of Kanchenjunga. It has been recognized as the smallest state in india. Sikkim offers a heartthrobing trekking facility. Sikkim is surrounded by China & Tibet in the North.

Bhutan on the SouthEast, West Bengal in the South and Nepal in the West Mountain Ranges practically abound Sikkim on three sides. It also constitutes the watershed of the Great Teesta and Rangeet rivers. Sikkim, with its rich biodiversity, has 150 lakes ranging in altitude from 200 meters to almost 8000 meters.
Besides birds, Sikkim has 4000 species of flowering plants, making it a botanist's paradise. It has 600 species of orchids, and 40 species of rhododendrons.
