The Nal Sarovar Bird Santuary lies 60 km south-west of Ahmedabad. This 116 sq km lake gives you a pleasant view of indigenous and migratory birds, ducks, geese, pelicans, cranes, storks, ibises, spoonbill, wading birds, swallows, fishing birds, eagles, osprey, harries and flamingos can be seen in early morning and evening. 54-60 kms from Ahmedabad and connects State transport busses with the city and offers most pleasant trips.
